How To Create New Documents

💼 How to Create New Documents, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites in the Team's Shared Drive

  1. Go to your circle’s Shared Drive (for example, IT Circle).

  1. Click the ‘+ New’ button (top-left).

Select the file type:

○ Google Docs – For text documents

○ Google Sheets – For spreadsheets

○ Google Slides – For presentations

○ Google Forms – For data collection and surveys

○ Google Sites – For internal websites or portals

  1. The file will be automatically created within the Shared Drive, ensuring visibility for all members.

🚫 Avoid creating files in "My Drive" and later moving them, as this can break sharing permissions or cause confusion.
