How To Create Inter Circle Task(s)

💼HOW TO CREATE INTER-CIRCLE TASKS

• Go to Mattermost and open any of the chats (e.g., DF TaskBot)

• Type the command /task in the chat or text area and press ENTER.

• Fill the opened form:

  • Enter a task title

  • Select your circle (e.g., Test)

  • Provide a description

  • Enter your name

  • Select the requesting circle you’re creating the task for (e.g., IT)

  • Enter Assignee (Optional)

  • Click on ‘Create’ to create the task or ‘Cancel’ to abort the task creation.

🔔HOW TO CHECK NOTIFICATIONS ON MATTERMOST

• When a user creates a task (refer to task creation above), a notification is sent to your Mattermost by the 🤖DF TaskBot. This notification is sent both to the ‘Assignee’ and ‘Accountable’

• Go ahead and click on 🔗View Task to view the task assigned to you on OpenProject.

• When an inter-circle task is created, a notification is sent by the 🤖DF TaskBot to the Circle’s channel as well as the user who created the task.

• click on 🔗View Task to view the task on OpenProject.
