How To Create a Segment

1. Go to Segments.

1. Click New+.

1. Name your segment.

1. Define filter conditions (e.g., Email contains ".com").

1. Click Save & Close.

How To Edit a Segment

Update the name, description, or filter logic of an existing segment.

1. Go to Segments.

1. Click on the name of the segment you want to edit.

1. Update the segment name, description, or modify the filter rules in the builder.

1. Click Save & Close to save your changes.

How To Delete a Segment

Permanently remove a segment from your Mautic system.

1. Go to Segments from the main menu.

1. Locate the segment you want to delete.

1. Click the checkbox next to its name.

2. Click the Delete icon from the top action bar.

1. Confirm the deletion in the popup dialog.

Note: Deleting a segment does not delete the contacts in it—only the grouping logic is removed.
