Review & Governance
Q: Who reviews our work? A: Your milestones are reviewed by assigned reviewers from the Review Circle and audited by coordinators.
Q: Who reviews milestone submissions? A: Milestones are reviewed by members of the Review Circle. Reviewers are selected based on experience, availability, and relevance to the project’s domain.
Q: How does Deep Funding ensure review quality? A: Reviews follow clear guidelines and predefined criteria. Coordinator audits are used to check consistency, completeness, and fairness before milestones move forward.
Q: What happens if my milestone is marked incomplete or rejected? A: You’ll receive feedback explaining what’s missing or unclear. You can update the milestone and resubmit once the issues are addressed.
Q: What if I disagree with a review outcome? A: If something feels unclear or incorrect, you can raise it through Mattermost. Coordinators will review the feedback and decide whether further clarification or a second look is needed.
Q: Are reviews anonymous? A: Reviewers may use pseudonyms, but all reviews are tracked internally. This helps reviewers stay objective while keeping accountability within the system.
Q: Can reviewers be changed during a project? A: Yes. Reviewers may change due to availability or workload. This does not affect review standards or decision-making.
Q: What if we miss a milestone deadline? A: Delays should be communicated early. Missing deadlines without updates can put funding at risk. Reasonable delays with clear explanations are usually manageable.
