# Bonus Request System Guide

The whole point of this system is to let you, as a circle coordinator, handle bonus requests smoothly. Oh, and a quick heads up: if your circle doesn't stick to the default flat 20% distribution for bonuses (you know, where everyone gets an even split based on tasks), you'll need to do your usual calculations using your circle's custom scheme and update the circle's bonus sheet accordingly. Got it? Cool, let's jump in!

### Getting Started: The Basics

When you launch the app, it plops you right into the main hub the **Circle Bonus Requests** module. This is where the magic starts for requesting bonuses for your circle. But before we get into the modules, remember: if you hit any snags, errors, or weird glitches (like invalid date warnings we'll talk about soon), don't sweat it. Just raise a support ticket with the operations circle or hop into the operations support channel. They're pros at sorting these out quickly.

Alright, let's break down the three key modules one by one.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://df-manual.gitbook.io/df-book/all-circles/bonus-request-system-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
